Veeten vs Frame.io

Frame.io is a broad platform for large post pipelines. Veeten does one thing: it makes writing a note on a frame of video as fast as typing it. If that is most of what you do in a review tool, Veeten is the smaller fit. If it is not, Frame.io probably serves you better, and this page says where.

You review stills, PDFs or audio as well as video. Veeten is video only.
Your clients need to comment without creating an account, and they need to this week.
You want review notes inside Premiere or Final Cut Pro today.
You upload from set with Camera to Cloud.
Your company requires single sign-on, watermarking or digital rights management.
You already pay for Creative Cloud. Adobe includes a Frame.io plan with some subscriptions, so check what you have.

When Veeten fits

What you review is cuts of video, and what you do in the tool is write notes.
You give a lot of notes per cut and want each one to take a few keystrokes.
You are an editor or a small post team, and everyone reviewing can have an account.
You would rather start with a small tool and add to it than learn a platform.
